About Laurus
Laurus was founded by a senior marketing and communications leader after more than two decades working inside organizations where awards and recognition mattered — but were rarely managed with discipline. Across startups and established companies alike, awards and visibility were often treated as afterthoughts: rushed, reactive, or left without
clear ownership.
Over time, a consistent pattern emerged. Strong companies were doing award-worthy work, yet failing to earn meaningful recognition — not because of a lack of performance, but because this body of work sat between functions and outside any deliberate system.
Laurus exists to bring structure, judgment, and intent to that gap. The firm advises organizations on how to treat awards and recognition as a strategic asset — designing awards portfolios, managing timelines, developing credible narratives, and ensuring recognition supports real business outcomes rather than vanity metrics.
Laurus works selectively with companies that take performance seriously and understand that the most powerful recognition is earned, not claimed.
Laurus. Earned recognition.
